Welcome
The Youth group at Bridgewater United Methodist Church invites any student between the 6th and 12th grade to be a part of our ministry! Whether you are a member at BUMC or not, anyone can come to enjoy learning about God, God's purpose, and Jesus Christ, God's awesome Son, through learning and living scripture!
Our gatherings are primarily on Thursday evenings for Bible Study, fun food, fellowship & service. We have a Zoom check-in meeting EVERY Sunday night for 15 minutes. Please join us! Contact Jomo for the link!
Purpose
We have a 3-G approach to youth ministry:
Gather is meant to help youth gain an understanding of WHO God is and to bring them into the kingdom of God.
Grow is meant to assist youth in their faith journey. Youth will be challenged to deepen their relationship with God and determine WHOSE they are.
Go is meant to fulfill the Great Commission, “Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
Activities
We have MANY activities that involve our group. Our group strives to live missionally every day and realize that it is God’s job to change someone’s life, however, we are called to change someone’s day!
Solos, Duets, Dance, Choir, Band, Handbells
We have many ways for our youth to share their musical gifts and talents. We would love for YOU to share your gifts & talents in worship!
