“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

Welcome

The Youth group at Bridgewater United Methodist Church invites any student between the 6th and 12th grade to be a part of our ministry! Whether you are a member at BUMC or not, anyone can come to enjoy learning about God, His purpose, and His awesome Son, through learning and living scripture!

When we hold our gatherings, they are primarily on Sunday evenings. Sometimes we will meet together and sometime we will meet by group: Middle school and High school.

Purpose

We have a 3G prong approach to youth ministry:

Gather is meant to help youth gain an understanding of WHO God is and to bring them into the kingdom of God.

Grow is meant to assist youth in their faith journey. Youth will be challenged to deepen their relationship with God and determine WHOSE they are.

Go is meant to fulfill the Great Commission, “Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Activities

We have MANY activities that involve our group. Our group strives to live missionally every day and realize that it is God’s job to change someone’s life, however, we are called to change someone’s day!

Choir, Band, Handbells

We have many ways for our youth to share their musical gifts and talents.
