Dear Friends,

This Sunday we will worship, recognize and celebrate our Veterans, and dedicate our boxes for Operation Christmas Child.  Our worship will be based on Psalm 100.  We will think about gratitude as we "Enter the Gates!"  Hope you can join us!

Our Church Charge Conference will be held on THIS Sunday, Nov 12th at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary.  I have been asked to preside at the Charge Conference for Rockingham & Augusta County.  We will welcome representatives from those churches on that day.  Anyone is welcome to attend our Charge Conference, church leaders are especially invited to attend.  

Next Sunday (November 19) is our Thanksgiving and Consecration Sunday!  Our guest speaker will be Rev. Tommy Herndon, former Harrisonburg District Superintendent and current Director of the United Methodist Foundation.  Tommy will be delivering the message at both of our services at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM.  At 12:15 PM we will gather for a catered luncheon in the Fellowship Hall.  There is no charge for lunch--but please RSVP so we can get a head count.  To RSVP, use the yellow card in your bulletin or contact the church office.

For an end to the wars in Israel and Gaza and in Ukraine and Russia  For innocent civilians whose lives have been upended by war.

For our nation and all those in government

People affected by natural disasters and for those helping them - earthquake in Afghanistan, hurricane
